About the studio

Two friends, one idea.
One mission.

Wrist Guard LDN began with Jason and James, two friends who could talk about watches for hours, and one question: how do you protect the watch you love without being afraid to wear it?

Our story

It started with a question.

Jason and James met through mutual friends. They came from different backgrounds but shared one thing: watches. The brands, the details, the craftsmanship, and the feeling of owning something you worked hard for.

There was always one problem. A luxury watch is made to be worn, yet every time you wear it, you risk marking it. For a collector that is frustrating. For someone with their first Rolex, AP, Patek Philippe or Cartier, it can mean the watch never leaves its box.

So they set out to protect the watch without taking away the experience of owning it: a discreet layer that lets you wear it with confidence, while the original surfaces stay as they left the boutique.

The journey

Built one late night at a time.

There was no office, no team and no marketing budget. Jason kept working as a barber, and when the day’s last client left, the second job began: research, testing and learning the craft, late into the night and again the next morning.

They could have bought a product and resold it. Instead they wanted to understand the process and improve it: how the film should fit, how the templates could be refined, how to make the protection as discreet as possible.

They travelled across London and the UK to meet dealers and collectors, and to Dubai to see the luxury world up close. A feature with Yiannimize put the brand in front of an audience that already understood protecting valuable things, and the conversations and enquiries followed.

London is the beginning. The plan is to grow across the UK and, in time, beyond it.

The partnership

Two people. Different strengths. One vision.

They do not always think the same way, and that is the point. They challenge each other, keep each other moving, and neither lets the other give up.

  1. Jason

The customer side. Years behind the barber’s chair taught him to look after people from every walk of life, and to make them feel at ease.

  2. James

The business side. Brand, process and quality control, so the studio develops properly and every fitting meets the standard they set themselves.

The craft

Measure, cut, fit.

  1. Step 1: Measure

Every reference is measured and mapped surface by surface before any film is cut.

  2. Step 2: Cut

The film is cut to the exact profile of your case, bezel and clasp, with edges set just inside each line.

  3. Step 3: Fit

Fitted by hand, surface by surface, then checked under the loupe before it goes back in its box.

Secure and discreet

How we handle your watch.

  1. Appointment only

Nobody walks in. Every visit is booked and confirmed in advance.

  2. No public address

The studio address is shared only when your appointment is confirmed.

  3. We come to you

Prefer not to travel with your watch? We fit it at your home or wherever suits you, so it never leaves your sight.

  4. Owners only

Your watch is handled by Jason and James, and nobody else, from arrival to return.

Wear it with confidence.

A luxury watch is meant to be worn: to work, to dinner, on your travels. It often marks something too: a milestone, a promotion, a birthday, years of hard work. Whether it is your first or one of many, we protect the watch, and the meaning behind it.

Protect what you have worked for. Wear what you have earned. Enjoy what you have achieved.

Secure your wrist.
